Denmark, 1927. Ambitious police officer Otto Himmelstrup heads the newly formed Mobile Task Force, established to assist local police in solving particularly difficult crimes. When a body is discovered in a burned-down summer house in Esbjerg, Otto and his team begin to unravel an unusual murder mystery that reveals power struggles and corruption among the city’s elite. The closer the Task Force gets to the truth, the more dangerous the case becomes — and soon Otto must not only confront powerful enemies but also face his own dark side in order to solve it.
